January Outfits

Slight blog radio silence over the last week or so – if you’re one of my lovely Instagram followers you may have noticed that I have been mentioning a certain event – just once or twice!  Oh yes, I am now 40 – better get that bio changed….

Coming up soon will be the new Spring Scarves plus sneak preview of the new Spring Collection but in the meantime a quick round up of my favourite outfits from January.

Love a statement coat, and this bright orange M&S one cheered up a grey January day.  It goes perfectly with the Navy and Orange Leopard Print Scarf.

Another day, another coat, and this French Connection classic camel coat is the perfect partner for the Classic Coffee Leopard Print Scarf.  In fact two coats were used in the making of this outfit….layered the camel coat up with a vintage style denim jacket from Gap.  Love the contrast of smart camel and casual denim.

Under the coat and scarf was a basic black Zara knit, which was the ideal backdrop for one of my all time favourite necklaces, one of the first stocked, the Purple and Coral Crystal Necklace.

Something slightly different now. Not quite bold enough for leather leggings or jeans, I find these black Warehouse coated jeans (only available in limited sizes online but I have seen them instore recently) a good alternative for this scaredy cat.  Worn with an oversized White Company sweater, denim shirt and the Carmine Fan Necklace.

And finally, probably my favourite outfit of the month – the first fancy dress party I’ve been to for about 10 years.  Had such a blast dressing as Mia Wallace from Pulp Fiction – the wig in particular was amazing!! Don’t think the syringe will become part of the Alice’s Wonders Collection any time soon though – do you?!
